GOPIO chairman- Dubai chapter meets Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, India who is visiting Dubai

On behalf of Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), Mr. Kamal Vachani, Chairman (Dubai Chapter), GOPIO met with the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh of India Shri. Jai Ram Thakur today in Dubai. The honourable Chief Minister on a visit to Dubai to showcase investment opportunities in the State.

During the interactive meeting with Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Mr Kamal Vachani appraised the activities of GOPIO in Dubai. The Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), a secular international organization for People of Indian Origin and NRIs, started in 1989 in New York. The initial thrust of GOPIO was campaigning and helping human rights violation of Indian, people of Indian origin/NRIs living outside India.

Mr Kamal Vachani is also Group Director of Al Maya Group. He also appraised the Chief Minister about the activities of Al Maya Group and discussed plans to imports fruits and vegetables from Himachal Pradesh as quality of Himachal Pradesh fruits and vegetables are very good and fresh. Al Maya Group has over 50 supermarkets in the UAE.
